At BuySell.net.au, we are committed to delivering your orders reliably and transparently. This Delivery Policy covers all purchases made on our website and is designed to comply with Google Merchant Center shipping policy requirements and applicable Australian Consumer Law.

Your total delivery window is made up of two distinct phases. Understanding the difference helps set accurate expectations:

2Shipping Methods & Cost

🚚Standard Shipping — FREE on all orders. No minimum order value required. Shipping shown as $0.00 at checkout.

We use reputable Australian carriers including Australia Post and partner couriers. Carrier selection depends on your location and product type. Full carrier details are included in your dispatch confirmation email.

3Handling Time Phase 1 of 2

Handling time is the period between when your order is placed and when it is physically dispatched from our warehouse. It covers order verification, payment confirmation, picking, packing, and handover to the carrier.

📦You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking number once your order leaves our warehouse. This marks the end of Handling Time and the start of Transit Time.

4Transit Time by State Phase 2 of 2

Transit time is the time your parcel spends in the carrier's delivery network — from dispatch at our warehouse to arrival at your address. This is separate from and in addition to handling time, and varies by your state or territory.

5How Your Total Delivery Window Is Calculated

Your estimated delivery date = Handling Time + Transit Time, counted from the date of order placement.

📋 Worked Example — Customer in Queensland: Order placed Monday at 10:00 AM AEST (before cut-off) → Handling: packed & dispatched Monday (Day 1) → Transit: QLD = 2–4 business days from dispatch → Estimated delivery: Wednesday to Friday of the same week.

6Order Processing & Cut-Off Time

The order cut-off time determines whether handling begins the same day or the next business day.

🕛Order Cut-Off: 12:00 PM AEST (noon) on business days.
  • Orders placed before 12:00 PM AEST on a business day: dispatched the same day.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM AEST: processed on the next business day.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays: processed on the next business day.
  • Dispatch confirmation with tracking number is emailed within 2 business days of dispatch.

7Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete before finalising your order. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.

⚠️If your order has already been dispatched and you need to change the address, contact us immediately at support@buysell.net.au. Address changes after dispatch may not be possible once the parcel is in transit.

8Order Tracking

After dispatch, you will receive an email with your tracking number and carrier details. Use this to monitor your parcel status on the carrier's website.

📧Allow up to 2 business days after dispatch for tracking to appear in the carrier's system. If you haven't received tracking details within this window, contact us at support@buysell.net.au.

9Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to Australian addresses only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

  • Deliveries to PO Boxes are accepted where supported by the carrier.
  • Orders with international shipping addresses will not be fulfilled and a full refund will be issued.
  • Remote and rural addresses may experience transit times toward the upper end of the state estimates.

10Delays & Circumstances Outside Our Control

While we strive to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days and meet carrier transit estimates, certain factors may cause delays:

  • Severe weather events or natural disasters
  • Carrier network disruptions or strikes
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by customer
  • Public holidays (not counted as business days)
  • High-volume periods (e.g., sales events, Christmas)
📬We will notify you of significant delays. If your order appears overdue based on the timeframes in this policy, contact us at support@buysell.net.au and we will investigate promptly.

11Lost or Damaged Items

If your order is marked as delivered but not received, or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of any damaged item and packaging
  • Screenshot of tracking status (if marked delivered but not received)

We will investigate and, where confirmed, offer a replacement or full refund depending on product availability. Resolution is typically provided within 5–7 business days of your report.
